Meet Alexa

This is me.

I was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ at a young age, but I always say my faith became my own in high school. I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2014 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and from there (curveball!) the Lord called me to move to Honduras to teach English at a small Christian bilingual school for the poor called Destino del Reino. During one of my summer breaks stateside, I met my now husband Chris. Two years later, I moved back to the States, married Chris, and began a job teaching high school Spanish (2018 was a whirlwind year!). In 2020, our daughter Mary Grace was born, and I have been living the stay-at-home mom life trying to keep up with her ever since! In 2023 we added another daughter, Isabelle Diane, to our family.

In 2022, my discipleship leader suggested I write a Bible study. Because of her encouragement (and a lot of prayer!), I wrote my first study, Opportunities for Obedience. I am excited to share my passion for reading and studying God’s Word with other women through Bible study!
